Philadelphia-based SolomonEdwards announced the appointment of George Kelly as MP. This strategic move underscores the firm’s commitment to enhancing its office of the CFO (OCFO) capabilities and scaling a high-impact delivery model nationwide.
Kelly, who joined the firm earlier this year, now formally steps into a national leadership role and brings more than 30 years of experience in business advisory and professional services. He will focus on modernizing the OCFO solution portfolio and optimizing team delivery. Kelly’s priorities include delivering strategic advisory, technical advocacy and operational execution solutions that help finance leaders solve business challenges, accelerate transformation initiatives and meet compliance obligations that create value across their entire organizations.
“George’s appointment marks a critical milestone as we evolve to meet the demands of the modern OCFO,” said John Gulnac, CEO of SolomonEdwards. “He brings formidable experience in client service, team leadership and solution delivery. His vision and approach align perfectly with our go-to-market strategy: delivering pragmatic, tangible solutions that help leaders navigate complexity and drive growth.”
“From my first conversations with John, I was energized by SolomonEdwards’ vision and strategic investments in areas including data science, financial crimes and corporate tax,” said Kelly. “Our recent acquisition of Pencek Advisors expanded our private equity services and serves as a great example of how we continue to grow and meet emerging market demand.”
SolomonEdwards is uniquely positioned to serve OCFO needs that improve efficiency, mitigate risk, and enable smarter decision-making. Kelly added, “We’re seeing increased client interest and recent project momentum in several key areas, including M&A integration, advanced data analytics, finance transformation, AR remediation and the practical application of AI. I’m honored to lead our OCFO team into this next chapter.”
