Princeton, N.J.-based IPA 100 firm Withum (FY24 net revenue of $584.2 million) announced leadership changes beginning on July 1. A fresh class of leaders will take the helm across industry and service teams, regional divisions and internal departments.
Industry and Service Leadership Transitions
Industry practice leaders guide teams of highly specialized professionals and drive the practice’s growth and success. These leaders possess deep industry knowledge and have developed exceptional mentorship and collaboration skills.
- Matt Walsh is promoted to practice leader of the industrial and consumer products services team.
- Michael George is promoted to practice leader of the healthcare services team, succeeding Scott Mariani.
- Mike Mulhearn is promoted to practice leader of the dealerships services team.
- Wally Merkas is promoted to market leader for business and management consulting services, succeeding Joe Riccie.
Regional Leadership Transitions
- Tom Hoberman was promoted to chief growth officer on January 1, succeeding Kirk Holderbaum.
Partners-In-Charge (PIC)
- Scott Reddersen is promoted to PIC of Withum’s Baltimore office, succeeding Scott Price, chief regional officer.
- Lenny Smith is promoted to PIC of Withum’s Seaport office in Boston succeeding Steve Yardumian.
- Steve Edelheit is the newly appointed PIC of Withum’s Chicago office, which joined the firm through the CTM union.
- Chris Hatten is the newly appointed PIC of Withum’s Houston office, which joined the firm through the PKF Texas union.
TMRG Leadership Transitions
Withum’s Team Member Resource Groups (TMRGs) are led by individuals who demonstrate genuine passion for their respective groups and excel in leading innovative projects and initiatives that celebrate their stories. TMRG leaders actively engage in their communities and work diligently to advocate for, support and celebrate their fellow team members. This year, three TMRGs will welcome new leadership.
- Jesse Sherar and Julie Au are appointed as co-leads to the Veterans TMRG leadership team, succeeding Jose Alicea.
- Andrea Fernandez has been appointed to the HOLA TMRG leadership team.
