Edina, Minn.-based IPA 200 firm Abdo LLP (FY23 net revenue of $45.09 million) announced the appointment of Tyler Petzel as its new manufacturing segment leader.
A partner at Abdo with 12 years of experience and extensive knowledge of the manufacturing, distribution and agribusiness industries, Petzel will guide the firm’s industry practice through a period of growth and change. “The current economic climate is quite uncertain, mainly due to tariffs and their potential ripple effects across the entire supply chain,” Petzel stated. “We’re committed to adapting and finding new ways for our clients to thrive in this shifting landscape.”
Under Petzel’s leadership, the manufacturing team will focus on proactive strategies around tariffs, site relocation concerns and evolving legislative developments. He will guide efforts to expand Abdo’s advisory services, including interim accounting support, process evaluations, and payroll and HR software implementations, ensuring the team is equipped to deliver strategic, practical guidance to manufacturers.
“Tyler has a strong grasp on the manufacturing industry,” said Abdo MP Steve McDonald. “He is bright, engaging and has done an excellent job of creating and delivering solutions to our manufacturing clients.”
