Brown Plus Announces Three Principal Promotions

Camp Hill, Penn.-based IPA 200 firm Brown Plus (FY23 net revenue $25.2 million) announced that Deborah Bowman, Scott Henry and Ashley Hershey have each been admitted as principals, effective Jan. 1.

“This is an outstanding accomplishment for these three and is incredibly well deserved,” said Ken Wolfe, president and managing principal at Brown Plus. “Each has been an integral part of our team, working very hard in their careers and showing leadership both in their professional work and their mentorship of others. We could not be prouder of their accomplishments, and we could not be more pleased to have them on our team representing Brown Plus as principals of the firm.”

Bowman has been promoted to COO and principal. Prior to her promotion, Bowman served as COO and CFO. She has over 35 years of experience in the accounting profession, including 12 years as a member of the audit professional staff at Brown Plus.

Henry has been promoted to audit principal. Prior to his promotion, he served as an audit senior manager. Henry has over nine years of public accounting experience and specializes in providing audit and review services to governmental entities and nonprofit organizations.

Hershey has been promoted to audit principal. Prior to her promotion, she served as an audit senior manager. She has over 10 years of public accounting experience and specializes in providing financial statements, tax and consulting services for local governments, nonprofits and closely held companies.
