Armanino Expands Entertainment Niche With Two Acquisitions

Looking to grow its entertainment-focused business management services, San Ramon, Calif.-based IPA 100 firm Armanino LLP (FY21 net revenue of $444.1 million) is merging in music business management firm Blue Sky Group of Nashville, Tenn., and music rights and royalty auditing firm Royalty Compliance Organization (RCO) of St. Peters, Mo., effective April 1.

The moves allow Armanino to provide deepened tax, audit and other service offerings relevant to the needs of the entertainment industry and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The addition of Blue Sky also gives the firm a presence in the music hub of Nashville to complement its existing entertainment-focused offerings in Los Angeles and New York.

“As far as industry-leading experts, we could not be more thrilled with the knowledge and talent that Blue Sky and RCO bring to our team, we know this will be incredibly valuable for our clients,” says Armanino business management partner Craig Manzino. “This will make Armanino one of the only business management groups in the world that will be able to offer the full slate of entertainment services while allowing us to deepen and expand our reach into Nashville, which we view as extremely important for our growth goals.”
