Gregg Hamilton-Piercy to Lead New Valuation Practice at Baker Tilly

Hamilton-Piercy

Chicago-based IPA 100 firm Baker Tilly (FY22 net revenue of $1.31 billion) has appointed Gregg Hamilton-Piercy to lead its newly formed valuation practice. The new practice is designed to provide borderless support to the firm’s audit practice and serve clients across services, geographies and industries.

Hamilton-Piercy joined Baker Tilly in 2021 through the acquisition of accounting and advisory firm The MFA Companies, where he spent 10 years and helped build a valuation practice. Prior to that, he was in valuation management at several Boston-area firms. He also served as assistant vice president for a venture capital firm focused on investing in expansionary-stage private companies in the IT, telecommunications, real estate, energy and health sciences industries.

“Valuation is certainly not new to Baker Tilly,” says Angela MacPhee, consulting MP. “We have incredible valuation professionals in pockets across our entire organization. Gregg’s job is to connect and collaborate.”
