Cohen & Company Names New Tax PIC

deMoulpied

Cleveland-based IPA 100 firm Cohen & Company (FY21 net revenue of $111.9 million) has named Kristen deMoulpied as the new PIC of its tax practice. She succeeds Mike McGivney, who led the tax team for the past five years and will continue to serve in a leadership role for the tax department, with a focus on technology.

With 20 years of experience in industry and global firms, deMoulpied joined Cohen & Company in 2020 as a tax partner specializing in transaction tax for a variety of industries, including private equity and manufacturing.

“Kristen is a great fit for this role,” says CEO Chris Bellamy. “She is a natural leader, easily connects with our people and clients, and is ready to take the next step in driving the strategic direction of the firm’s largest service line.”
