UHY Acquires Michigan Firm  

Farmington Hills, Mich.-based IPA 100 firm UHY LLP (FY21 net revenue of $215.8 million) is merging in Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Jansen Valk Thompson Reahm PC (JVTR).

“UHY’s Great Lakes region is growing rapidly,” says Tom Callan, UHY’s Great Lakes regional MP. “We’re thrilled to join together with JVTR as they are truly an exceptional firm with deep industry experience and a reputation of excellence and distinction.”

Founded in 1994, JVTR serves individuals, families, trusts, public corporations, private companies and non-profit organizations from its offices in Kalamazoo and Dowagiac, Mich. When the deal becomes effective on Oct. 25, JVTR’s 32 team members will join UHY.

“Joining UHY allows us to provide expanded services and resources to better serve our clients and additional opportunities for our employees,” says JVTR MP Jim Valk. “There is great chemistry between the two firms and a strong alignment and vision for the future.”
