Hancock Askew Names COO, Establishes New Partner-Led Executive Committee

Savannah, Ga.-based IPA 200 firm Hancock Askew & Co. LLP (FY21 net revenue of $28.9 million) has selected Angela Krebs as its first chief operations officer.

As COO, Krebs will manage the firm’s operations and also be responsible for human resources, information technology and firm administration. She previously served as project manager, working directly with MP Michael McCarthy to help drive process improvements, as well as business intelligence and infrastructure projects. Krebs has more than 24 years of experience leading operational transformation and alignment initiatives at large growth-oriented companies such as Gulfstream, Verisign and USBank.

The firm also appointed Michael McCarthy, Jodi Malis, Chad Miller, Kristen Brand, Stephen Leonard, Craig Armstrong and Allen Akins to its newly formed partner-led executive committee.

“We’re excited to have Angela as our first-ever COO and I am looking forward to working more closely with my fellow executive committee members to lead the firm into the future,” says McCarthy. “Angela will work very closely with the new committee and will help us execute our mission, streamline operations and efficiently manage our growth.”
