BPM Becomes Certified B Corporation

San Francisco-based IPA 100 firm BPM LLP (FY21 net revenue of $162.8 million) has joined the ranks of more 5,500 global companies – and of only 15 U.S. accounting firms – in becoming certified as a B Corporation.

The designation confirms that the firm has met certain standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability. The road to B Corp certification involved a more than two-year process that assessed many of BPM’s operations and procedures.

“This certification is an important milestone in our journey of accountability, transparency and simply doing the right thing,” says CEO Jim Wallace. “The culture and corresponding effort that helped us to become a B Corp are not new. Since our founding more than 36 years ago, BPM’s colleagues have made a difference – not just to each other, but to our clients, communities, profession and environment.”
