Remembering Rich Bollam

Bollam

Rich Bollam, a founding partner of IPA 300 firm BST & Co. of Albany, N.Y., passed away on June 29 at the age of 78.

In a statement, the firm noted that Bollam was instrumental in growing BST to the prestigious and well-respected financial management, consulting and tax-solutions entity it is today, further stating that he was characterized by his colleagues as a fierce client server. The statement also said that fellow founding partner Joe Torani had many times referred to Bollam as the rudder of the BST ship – keeping the vessel between the buoys as the firm grew and expanded.

“While the ‘B’ in BST is no longer with us, we will remember Rich fondly and with enduring respect,” the statement reads. “We look forward to carrying on his legacy to the best of our collective ability.”
