Friedman Makes Leadership Moves

New York-based IPA 100 firm Friedman LLP (FY20 net revenue of $144.7 million) has made the following leadership appointments:

Principal Peter Manzetti has been named the governance, risk and compliance practice lead, succeeding Kevin Hyams, who remains a partner. Manzetti has experience leading large-scale, multinational Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), internal audit, risk assessment, compliance readiness and effectiveness engagements for clients in a variety of industries, including digital currency, gaming, non-profits, retail, real estate, and manufacturing and distribution.

Michael Sacco has been named PIC of the firm’s New York/Long Island West offices. Sacco primarily services a range of privately held businesses and their owners in the apparel, consumer products, manufacturing, import/ distribution, e-commerce, architecture, engineering and construction industries.

Lee Sheilds, co-MP of Friedman’s South Jersey offices, has been named to the Friedman management committee. Sheilds has more than 25 years of experience as a tax professional, serving clients from a wide variety of industries, including real estate, manufacturing, distribution, technology and medical practices.
