Chicago-based IPA 100 firm Baker Tilly (FY21 net revenue of $1 billion) has appointed Shane Lloyd as its first head of diversity, inclusion and belonging.
Lloyd previously worked with Baker Tilly to assess its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy as a lead consultant at organizational development firm Cook Ross. Following Cook Ross, he joined Amazon to advance its DEI efforts. He also has experience working in higher education at Brown and Yale Universities and in public health.
“Shane has tremendous ability to lead with both intellect and empathy, while setting the bar high for how we can keep getting better as an organization,” says Baker Tilly CEO Alan Whitman. “Personally, I felt challenged and inspired by the perspectives he brought.”
