Doeren Mayhew Grows in Houston with Acquisition

Looking to expand its Houston footprint, Troy, Mich.-based IPA 100 firm Doeren Mayhew (FY20 net revenue of $84 million) is merging in Darlene Plumly CPA of Houston.

Founded in 2003 by its namesake, Darlene Plumly CPA provides tax and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses, including trusts and estates, corporations, S corporations and partnerships.

“Our firm has been fortunate to sustain and build throughout the pandemic, and what has helped attribute to this is the commitment and quality of service our team has upheld,” says Chris Masters, Houston managing shareholder at Doeren Mayhew. “Darlene has built a firm that perfectly aligns with our approach, and I’m confident this acquisition will support our growth initiatives to continue being recognized as a leading Houston CPA firm.”
