San Francisco-based IPA 100 firm BPM LLP (FY20 net revenue of $129.9 million) has launched a new environmental, social and governance (ESG) practice.
Designed for clients ranging from middle-market and large-cap businesses to large non-profit organizations, the new practice encompasses ESG reporting and attestation, governance documentation, IT security and sustainability solutions. The ESG group includes professionals from BPM’s assurance and advisory practices, and is co-led by Su Rim, a senior manager in the assurance practice, and Kristi Staley, director of business development and partnerships.
“With increasing pressure on companies to hold themselves to a high standard of corporate responsibility, ESG has become a crucial part of the modern business model,” says Rim. “The importance of these principles, and the mobilization of our own client-facing ESG team and the many resources these professionals bring to bear is an opportunity to help our clients realize and achieve their own ESG goals.”
