Responding to client interest in cloud-based accounting solutions, Buffalo, N.Y.-based IPA 100 firm Freed Maxick CPAs (FY21 net revenue of $50.5 million) has launched a new accounting and advisory practice.
MAXIS by Freed Maxick is billed as a technology-driven approach to optimizing back-office accounting and financial planning and analysis that enables data-driven decision making. The new practice will be led by director Alexis Becker, who has more than two decades of experience providing assurance and advisory services to companies at various stages of growth.
