San Francisco-based IPA 100 firm Andersen (FY20 net revenue of $368.5 million) has established a new global mobility practice by bringing in managing directors Brent Bergan and Claudia Howe and their team of more than 20 professionals from global mobility solutions firm Glomotax Consulting of San Jose, Calif.
“The addition of global mobility services for our clients is another important step in the ongoing development of our global platform,” says Andersen Global chairman and Andersen CEO Mark Vorsatz.
“We will continue to develop similar capabilities in other markets consistent with our commitment to meeting the needs of our clients globally through best-in-class, seamless solutions.”
Co-founded by Bergan and Howe in 2003, Glomotax provides strategy, consulting and individual tax services to organizations that relocate people internationally. Prior to founding the consulting firm, Howe spent 11 years as a senior manager in global mobility taxation at Ernst & Young, while Bergan spent seven years at Oracle Corporation as the director of tax and international assignments and was a senior manager at Ernst & Young.
“The expertise of the Glomotax team is highly complementary to our existing suite of services and fully supports our commitment to providing holistic solutions for our clients,” adds Andersen U.S. country managing director Dan DePaoli.
