Katz Sapper & Miller Launches Government Consulting Practice

Looking to expand its public sector services, Indianapolis-based IPA 100 firm Katz Sapper & Miller (FY20 net revenue of $81.8 million) has launched a new government consulting practice.

The new practice looks to provide solutions that eliminate barriers faced by state and local governments offering services that include project management, economic development project management, economic development strategy for local governments, grant and federal funds management, request for proposal management, process improvement and agency efficiency, and redevelopment planning.

Luke Bosso

The government consulting practice will be led by managing director Luke Bosso, whose experience includes nearly seven years in public service, most recently as chief of staff for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). He previously served as the deputy chief of staff for the Indiana Department of Child Services and as senior policy and operations director for Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb.

“We have an extensive history of providing high-quality audit and accounting services to public sector organizations, and the establishment of this new consulting practice enables us to offer a variety of complementary services in this space,” says president and CEO Tim Cook. “Luke brings deep experience and a mix of governmental, operational, administrative and economic development talents that make him a great fit for leading this practice.”
