Freed Maxick Admits Five New Directors

Buffalo, N.Y.-based IPA 100 firm Freed Maxick CPAs (FY21 net revenue of $50.5 million) has admitted the following five professionals as directors:

Jenny Bean is a director in the firm’s enterprise advisory services practice. She joined Freed Maxick in 2007 and has 22 years of experience, focusing on complex tax research and analysis for clients in the manufacturing, professional services, technology development and not-for-profit sectors.

Adam Poole is a director in the enterprise advisory services practice. He joined the firm in 2008 and has 13 years of experience, providing in-depth reviews, consulting, outsourced accounting and detailed recommendations for improvements in internal controls for a diverse client base.

Cara Rossi is a director in the tax practice with over 10 years of tax experience, specializing in ASC 740, tax consulting and planning, and tax return preparation for clients in the manufacturing, regulated and general service industries.

Jonathan Tretter is a director in the enterprise advisory services practice, focusing on taxation and planning for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships and LLCs, and high-net-worth individuals. He has also been a leader in the firm’s response to federal legislation surrounding the CARES Act, including the paycheck protection program and the employee retention credit.

Shauna VanRemmen is a 12-year veteran of the firm and a director in the tax practice. Her broad background in tax planning, consulting and tax return preparation includes work with S corporations and partnerships in the real estate, construction, manufacturing, health care and professional services industries.
