Chicago-based IPA 100 firm RSM US LLP (FY21 net revenue of $2.9 billion) has named Rick Shriner leader of its business risk consulting practice. In this new role, he will focus on helping clients assess and manage risk, including regulatory and compliance risk, operational risk and strategic risk.
Shriner is a principal in RSM’s risk consulting practice and has more than 18 years of experience serving large multinational clients, with particular emphasis on upper middle-market, Fortune 500 and publicly traded companies. He has advised clients in the areas of accounting, risk management, M&A, forensic matters, process design and improvement, internal audit, regulatory compliance and information technology system implementation.

The firm has named Tauseef Ghazi leader of its security and privacy risk practice. In this role, he will help clients bolster their cybersecurity and privacy programs, focusing on cyber strategy, risk and compliance, tactical security evaluations, digital forensics, data privacy and the growing considerations regarding cyber transformation and implementations. He will also oversee the firm’s managed security operations center, as well as the virtual chief information security officer team.
Ghazi is a principal in RSM’s risk consulting practice and has more than 20 years of experience serving clients with their security and privacy needs, including leading large security program implementations for middle-market, Fortune 500 and publicly traded organizations.
