Portland, Maine-based IPA 100 firm BerryDunn has named Sarah Belliveau its next CEO and managing principal. She will succeed John Chandler, who has led the firm since 1999, and who will continue to focus on client work and strategic projects.
“Sarah brings a firm-wide perspective to the job,” Chandler says. “Her intimate knowledge of our culture, coupled with decades of experience in direct client service, team development and collaboration with our diverse practice groups makes her an ideal fit. She’s also just a great person.”
A 29-year veteran of the firm, Belliveau currently leads the not-for-profit practice, providing audit, accounting and management advisory services to a variety of organizations ranging in size and complexity. She is also responsible for developing internal and external training sessions, including programs on federal grant compliance and board fiduciary responsibilities.
“BerryDunn has afforded me so many opportunities for growth and development, and I look forward to creating the same opportunities for others in my new role as CEO,” Belliveau says. “As our firm embarks on its third generation of leadership together, we’ll continue to be the dynamic group our clients and community have come to expect.”
