Brian Dermott
Atlanta-based IPA 100 firm Frazier & Deeter LLC (FY19 net revenue of $108.5 million) has admitted Brian Dermott as partner in the firm’s transaction advisory services practice and Shelby Nelson as a partner in the process, risk and governance practice.

Working out of the Charlotte, N.C., office, Dermott leads a team of transaction professionals in the execution of financial due diligence on behalf of private equity groups and strategic corporate buyers. He has over 14 years of experience, including public accounting and executive leadership of a high-growth private equity platform investment.
Nelson works out of the firm’s Atlanta office, drawing on her 23 years of experience in external and internal audit, as well as project and operational risk management. She has worked with a variety of institutions and industries, reviewing and establishing internal controls over IT environments, assisting with regulatory compliance and conducting industry framework assessments.
