Brian West
Springfield, Mo.-based IPA 100 firm BKD LLP (FY20 net revenue of $694.9 million) has selected Brian West to lead the firm’s Houston office and Tammy Rivera to lead the Colorado-Salt Lake City offices. Both appointments are effective June 1, 2021.

In taking over as OMP in Houston, West will replace Kimberly McKay, who was recently appointed to serve as the MP for BKD’s south region. West will relocate from Oklahoma City, where he has been serving as the commercial industry leader for the south region.
“We are confident [West] is the right leader for the Houston office because of his passion for client service, innovation and team development,” says McKay.
Rivera takes over the Colorado-Salt Lake City offices from Jeff Ronsse, who was recently promoted to MP of the firm’s north region. Rivera has two decades of experience providing audit and consulting services for health care organizations.
“There have been several points already in her career that we’ve asked Tammy to take on a new challenge, and she’s excelled in each role,” says BKD CEO-elect Tom Watson. “She will bring that same level of commitment to her new position.”
