Eric Bosch has been selected to take over as president and CEO of Metairie, La.-based IPA 200 firm LaPorte CPAs & Business Advisors (FY19 net revenue of $29.9 million) when current leader William “Ted” Mason retires at the end of 2021 after more than two decades with the firm.
Bosch is a 30-year veteran of LaPorte and leads the firm’s audit and assurance services group. He has also served in various other leadership roles during his tenure, including within the firm’s health care industry group, as chairman of the firm’s compensation committee and as former leader of the financial services industry group.
“It was of the utmost importance to me and our shareholder group to make sure that we had the right person in place as we move into this transition,” says Mason. “I know from my long history of working with Eric that he will do an excellent job as CEO. His dedication to our employees and keen business insights will serve LaPorte well, particularly as we navigate a post-COVID world.”
