Rochester, N.Y.-based EFPR Group (FY17 net revenue of $25.4 million) announced four professionals with the firm have been admitted to the partnership group: Richele Emich-Sharn, Thomas Niles, Maureen Rutecki and David Urban.

Emich-Sharn is part of EFPR Group’s tax and business services department. She has been with the firm for 20 years and works extensively with the international taxation side of the practice. She works with clients in the U.S. and abroad to assist them with the IRS streamlined procedures process to bring individuals into compliance. She also assists with expatriate and inpatriate returns, hypothetical tax calculations, equalization calculations, totalization certificate planning and application, and other aspects of international taxation including personal 1040’s, tax planning, preparation and advice.
Niles and Rutecki are both part of StoneBridge Business Partners, an affiliated consulting company, and members of EFPR Group’s business valuation forensic and litigation services group.
Niles has more than 15 years of public accounting and compliance auditing experience and travels regularly throughout the country conducting audits. His current focus is in the health care field, specifically distribution, manufacturing and group purchasing audits. He has also assisted on a number of engagements related to litigation, forensic and fraud. He manages client relationships in the franchise, governmental and health care fields.
Rutecki specializes in valuation, litigation and consulting services. She has significant health care industry experience, including physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, home health care agencies and dental practices, among others. She also has significant real estate company industry experience, including complex family entities, and also serves on the AICPA’s business valuation committee.
Urban is part of EFPR Group’s attest department. He is responsible for providing audit, accounting and consulting services for numerous nonprofit organizations. He has more than 30 years of public accounting experience. His clients have included cultural organizations, health and human service agencies, Article 28 health clinics, non-profit medical practices, religious entities, HUD-insured projects and various federal, state and local governmental entities.
