Chicago-based Grant Thornton (FY12 net revenue of $1.25 billion) has admitted 30 new partners and principals throughout the country. In addition, the firm has promoted 20 professionals to managing director, which is the highest-level employee position in the firm and part of the firm’s leadership team. In addition, Dallas-based Graham Dyer is rejoining the firm’s Bank Advisory and Regulatory Services practice and National Professional Standards Group following a two-year fellowship with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
Furthermore, five new leaders were named to the New York practice: Sean Denham, assistant MP for Operations and Quality; Nichole Jordan, assistant MP for Industries and Markets; Craig Casey, Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS) practice leader; Carlos Ferreira, Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice leader; and Brian Moore, interim Tax Services practice leader.
Other changes were announced in New York and Atlanta. In New York, the firm admitted Edward Miller as audit partner and Steven Winter as tax partner. Michael Stokke was named OMP of the Atlanta practice. He was previously the regional tax partner for the Southeast and the assistant OMP of the Atlanta practice.
All changes were effective Aug. 1.
