Looking to bolster its international tax services practice, Albuquerque, N.M.-based IPA 200 firm REDW LLC (FY19 net revenue of $31.3 million) is merging in CPA Global Tax & Accounting of Scottsdale, Ariz.
Founded in 2006 by Pallav Acharya, CPA Global Tax & Accounting focuses on tax planning, structuring, consulting, compliance and transfer pricing issues, with a specialization in international tax and business issues. The firm has experience working on IRS overseas voluntary disclosure initiatives and has helped both businesses and non-resident and expatriate individuals comply with international tax requirements. As part of the deal, Acharya will be admitted as a principal in REDW’s Phoenix office.
“Our decision to add the international tax expertise of Pallav and his team to REDW is part of our overall continued strategic expansion,” says REDW MP Steve Cogan. “We recognize that rapid globalization is creating great opportunities, but also a challenging tax environment as businesses continue to trade or expand their operations around the world. We are now even better positioned to proactively advise clients on cross-border tax matters.”
