Richmond, Va.-based IPA 100 firm Cherry Bekaert (FY20 net revenue of $226.4 million) has added two new pieces to its advisory services leadership team, bringing on Kevin Baril and Brian Murrow as managing principals.
Baril will lead the firm’s digital advisory services, which includes analytics and business intelligence, business applications, IT infrastructure and managed services, and strategy and operations. He has more than 30 years of experience in technology transformation and systems implementation, including his most recent position as national managing principal and national leader for IT strategy and management for a global big six accounting firm.
As leader of Cherry Bekaert’s risk and accounting advisory services, Murrow will oversee the areas of accounting advisory and IT audit and consulting, cybersecurity, enterprise risk management, internal audit and regulatory compliance. He most recently served as the managing partner of IBM’s North America financial services risk and compliance analytics advisory practice.
