San Ramon, Calif.-based IPA 100 firm Armanino LLP (FY19 net revenue of $322.2 million) has launched a new tool to help non-profits get a better handle on their performance.
The Benchmarking for Non-Profits solution presents insights drawn from big data – including information from proprietary research, the IRS, federal websites and Amazon web services – in an easy-to-navigate dashboard, allowing non-profit organizations to see their financial performance year-over-year and against similar groups in their region and nationally. The dashboard was designed to help non-profits identify and detect trends in their field of interest, and to allow them to present full financial transparency to their stakeholders, funders, donors, boards and peers.
“Every non-profit executive director or board member knows that budgeting and finance are the most critical and challenging aspects of their work and can often be the difference-maker in their ability to make a positive and lasting impact in their communities,” says Paul O’Grady, PIC of Armanino’s non-profit practice. “That’s why we worked with the firm’s data and analytics team to build a robust and intuitive dashboard platform that can show nonprofit leaders exactly where they stand with revenues and expenses, which elements of the organization are most costly, and how they perform against peers and even themselves.”
