Clifton, N.J.-based IPA 100 firm Sax LLP (FY19 net revenue of $44.1 million) has admitted Joy Matak as a tax partner to co-lead the firm’s trusts and estates practice.
Matak has over 20 years of experience as a wealth transfer strategist with a background in recommending and implementing advantageous tax strategies for multi-generational wealth families, owners of closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals, including complex trust and estate planning. In her new role, she will work with Sax clients on wealth transfer strategy planning and tax compliance for trusts and estates, as well as consulting services related to dynastic tax planning, asset protection, life insurance structuring and post-mortem planning.
