Montgomery, Ala.-based IPA 200 firm Jackson Thornton (FY19 net revenue of $31.1 million) has announced that John Fendley has been elected as president and CEO, effective Jan. 1. He will take over for Ned Sheffield, who has led the firm since 2009.
Fendley has more than three decades of experience in public accounting and has led Jackson Thornton’s Prattville, Ala., office since 1997.
“There have been great days and some challenging days, and it has been my privilege to lead our firm through both,” says Sheffield. “John will do a great job and I’m excited about where he will take Jackson Thornton.”
