IPA 100 firm Anchin Block & Anchin LLP of New York (FY19 net revenue of $109 million) has elected firm veteran Russell Shinsky as its seventh MP, succeeding Frank Schettino, who is retiring.
Shinsky has spent his entire 28-year career with the firm, has served as a member of Anchin’s executive committee since 2015 and has served as co-MP alongside Schettino during the past year. He previously served as the practice group leader of the firm’s services group, focusing on law firms, and leader of the firm’s assurance practice. Over the past year as co-MP, he has overseen key hires, spearheaded the firm’s adoption of innovative technologies and helped lead the firm’s internal COVID-19 response.
“Russell’s emphasis on our talent and embracing innovation is exciting and bodes well for the future of the firm,” says Schettino. “In this period of rapid industry change, Russell sees the inherent challenges for our firm, but just as importantly new opportunities for success and growth.”
