Patty Basti Tapped to Lead KPMG’s Cincinnati Office

Patty Basti

New York-based Big 4 firm KPMG LLP has named Patty Basti as OMP of its Cincinnati office, replacing Mike Comer, who was promoted to PIC of the firm’s U.S. tax operations.

Basti has been with KPMG for 19 years and has been leader of the firm’s internal audit and enterprise risk practice in Cincinnati since 2007. She will retain that role, focusing on internal controls, risk management, compliance and risk-based internal audits, in addition to serving as OMP. Basti has also served as KPMG’s national leader for internal audit quality assessment reviews since 2013.
