Engineered Tax Services (ETS) of West Palm Beach, Fla., has acquired consulting firm The Growth Partnership (TGP) of St. Louis. The deal also includes acquisition of TGP’s ABLE CRM platform as well as The Rosenberg Survey.
ETS provides specialty tax services like cost segregation and R&D tax credits to architecture firms. In acquiring TGP, the firm is looking to now offer marketing services, CRM tools and training as well. The two organizations will continue to operate under their original names, and Jeff Pawlow and Charles Hylan of TGP will continue to serve as managing directors of both firms.
“The professional services space is rapidly adopting a more ‘advisory’ mindset and looking to drive additional value into their client relationships,” says ETS CEO Julio Gonzalez. “Jeff and Charles have positioned TGP at the forefront of that movement. I look forward to introducing their significant expertise and the unique ABLE CRM platform to our client family.”
“This combination will prove transformational to Julio Gonzalez and ETS and quickly advance their position as thought leaders and advisors to the profession,” adds consultant Allan Koltin, who advised both sides on the transaction. “The additions of industry luminaries Jeff Pawlow and Charles Hylan along with the talented team at The Growth Partnership and ABLE will position ETS as the go-to option for firms looking to pivot from compliance to advisory services.”
