Greenville, S.C.-based Elliott Davis Decosimo (FY15 net revenue of $101.6 million) and Crowell and Crowell of Franklin, Tenn., have agreed to combine their firms on Jan. 1.
The combination expands Elliott Davis Decosimo’s banking and financial services in Tennessee and gives Crowell & Crowell additional resources to adapt to their clients’ needs, the firms announced.
Elliott Davis Decosimo recently announced an expansion of its banking and financial services practice in the Nashville and Knoxville, Tenn., markets with the relocation of two key members of the financial services team. This combination further expands the banking specialty area for both firms.
Elliott Davis Decosimo serves more than 120 financial institutions across the Southeast, many of which are SEC registrants.
“This is a great opportunity to strengthen our banking advisory team in Tennessee and broaden our reach,” says practice leader Jason Caskey. “Crowell & Crowell is well-known and respected in the banking community and brings additional industry experience to our team.”
“Crowell & Crowell has had great success serving the banking and financial industry for the last 14 years,” says shareholder June Crowell. “Combining with Elliott Davis Decosimo will allow us to broaden our services available to clients through new capabilities and added expertise.”
Founded in 2002, Crowell & Crowell specializes in providing audit and consulting services, including internal audit, compliance reviews, IT reviews and loan review services to financial institutions in Tennessee. The firm will maintain its current location in Franklin.
