New York-based PwC US (FY13 net revenue of $11 billion) announced that Scott Moore has been admitted as MP of the firm’s North Texas market, effective immediately. Moore brings 27 years of experience to the role and will be responsible for leading more than 1,900 professionals in delivering audit, tax and advisory services to clients in the firm’s Dallas, Fort Worth and Austin, Texas, and Little Rock, Ark., offices.
Moore succeeds Tom Codd, who led the North Texas market for PwC for the last six years. Codd was recently appointed PwC’s vice chairman, U.S. human capital leader. In his new role, Codd, who will continue to reside in Dallas, is responsible for driving PwC’s talent strategy, including its programs and policies around flexibility, engagement, career progression and leadership development.
“Scott has demonstrated an exceptional combination of people development, client service, practice development and community involvement during his tenure with the firm,” says Codd. “PwC is committed to growing our base of partners and staff, and we need an experienced leader to guide them and expand our practice.”
Prior to taking on his new role, Moore served as the tax leader for the North Texas market and for the retail and consumer industry practice in the U.S. He was admitted to the partnership in 2000 and currently serves clients in the financial services and energy sectors.
“I look forward to creating opportunities for our people and showcasing PwC’s value as an outstanding service provider, employer and corporate citizen across our North Texas market,” says Moore.
