Portland, Maine-based Baker Newman Noyes (FY13 net revenue of $27.7 million) announced that four new principals have been admitted: Anne Cloutier, Céline Couillaut, Rick Cyr and Sean Sinclair. Cloutier, Couillaut and Cyr previously served as senior managers and Sinclair is the firm’s chief operating officer. All four are located in the Portland office.

Cloutier, audit principal, joined the firm in 1996. Since that time she has dedicated her time to serving clients in the health care industry, providing audit services to a variety of hospital and health care organizations. She also has experience working with not-for-profit organizations and employee benefit plans.
Couillaut, tax principal, joined the firm in 2001 and has built a practice focused on providing tax compliance, planning and consulting for high-net-worth families and individuals, as well as corporations and partnerships. She has a special focus on international tax compliance and consulting for both businesses and individual clients.
Cyr, principal in the audit practice, joined the firm in 1999 and, since that time, has built a successful practice in auditing financial institutions, insurance entities and employee benefit plans, as well as commercial businesses and quasi-governmental agencies. He is also actively involved with the firm’s efforts to recruit new employees from colleges throughout New England.
Sinclair, principal in the firm’s operations department, is taking on a new role. He joined the firm in 2010 as the firm’s first chief operating officer. Sinclair specializes in strategic leadership, project management, process improvement, risk and financial controls assessment and business process re-engineering.
