CPAmerica International announced its 2015 board of directors. The new board will have its first meeting of the year at CPAmerica’s office on Jan. 15 to discuss 2015 initiatives and other long-term goals.
Chip Helme, MP of Thompson Greenspon of Fairfax, Va., is the new chair of the board. He succeeds 2014 chair, Bryan Chandler, MP of Tuscaloosa, Ala.-based JamisonMoneyFarmer PC.
“I’m honored to be serving as chair of CPAmerica International’s board of directors in 2015,” says Helme. “The opportunity to share ideas, experiences and best practices has improved all of our firms, and I am eager to support our members with new and exciting initiatives to bring even more value to the association.”
Joseph Ciccarello, MP of Westwood, Mass.-based Gray, Gray & Gray LLP, has been elected to the vice chair/chair-elect position.
“Last year proved to be a great year and I’m looking forward to what this board will bring to the membership in 2015,” says Alan Deichler, CPAmerica president. “As a member-driven association, the board represents the membership within CPAmerica.”
Among the nine elected board members, returning board members include Brad Steward of Pulakos CPAs; and Scott Voynich of Robinson, Grimes & Company.
The four newly elected board members include Timothy Arter of Brickley DeLong; John Lauer of HBL CPAs; Robert McGowen of McGowen, Hurst, Clark & Smith; and Jack Savage Jr. of CF & Co.
