New York-based CohnReznick LLP (FY14 net revenue of $508.2 million) is leasing approximately 50,000 square feet of space on the 11th and 12th floors of downtown Hartford, Conn.’s Metro Center building. The move, which is effective as of Nov. 24, will relocate CohnReznick’s existing Glastonbury and Farmington, Conn. offices to the Hartford space.
The new space brings together 230 partners and employees, currently operating in two separate offices. Relocating to Metro Center also brings CohnReznick closer to the center of the region’s professional and financial services community and will allow it to host more of its industry roundtables and gatherings with clients, trade associations and other advisors.
The move comes 30 years after Frank Longobardi and his partner Bob Haggett first opened the doors of their own firm, Haggett Longobardi, in Hartford in 1984. Haggett Longobardi combined with J.H. Cohn LLP in 2007, which is now CohnReznick LLP. “It’s an exciting homecoming for me,” says Longbobardi. “We had a great deal of success in Hartford and look forward to continued success in our new home. We believe being in Hartford will allow us to continue to attract top talent to our firm in order to meet the needs of our clients.”
