Brotemarkle Davis & Co. of St. Helena, Calif., announced the promotion of three team members to partner. Sam Martin, Chris Meineke and Patricia Walker each have unique areas of focus and bring specialized skills to the Napa Valley CPA firm.
This step is one of the final pieces of a 13-year transition plan that was put in motion by former MP, Dave Brotemarkle, who retired from the firm this year. At the time, Brotemarkle supported his future successor, Craig Underhill, in building a firm that offers a broad range of services to wineries. As these services have expanded, the firm has grown, providing opportunities to not only these partners but other team members as well.
“We couldn’t be prouder of these three talented professionals who have served our customers in an exemplary way,” says Underhill, the firm’s CEO. “In addition to being CPAs, they have each made the investment in gaining specialized expertise: Chris Meineke holds an ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation), Sam Martin is a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), and Patricia Walker has an MST (Masters in Tax). Their expertise will keep the firm on its path of long term success and increased customer value.”
This has been a year of change for the firm, which has not only added three new partners, but is also expanding its office, adding new employees and saying goodbye to its founder, Brotemarkle.
