San Francisco-based Andersen Tax announced the promotion of Susan Delgado. She is part of the private client services practice group, and will join the team of eight managing directors in the Boston office. This announcement follows the Sept. 2 news that Andersen Tax (formerly WTAS) had acquired the rights to the iconic brand name Andersen and would rename itself Andersen Tax.
Delgado has more than 18 years of experience advising high-net-worth individuals, their families and closely held businesses. Her practice focuses on tax consulting and compliance services for individuals, fiduciaries and related entities. Her experience includes developing and implementing multigenerational wealth transfer plans, addressing multistate fiduciary tax issues, determination of qualified small business stock status of securities, tax issues related to individuals working abroad as well as foreign nationals working in the United States and gifting strategies to accomplish family objectives.
“Sue has been an integral part of our tax practice,” says OMP, Joe Comeau. “Sue is a true partner and has been someone we have been able to count on to deliver quality service to our clients time and time again.”
Delgado also served as a member of the Andersen Tax individual specialty team. She has served as a member of the manager advisory committee and training committee and continues to be involved in local office training and national training on topics such as hedge fund reporting, foreign tax credit calculation and tax impact of financial instruments.
