New York-based Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP (RSSM) (FY13 net revenue of $39.3 million) announced Craig Goodman and Michael Kaplan have joined the firm as principals.
Goodman is a principal in the professional standards and practices group with more than 30 years of accounting and auditing experience. He works with a wide range of clients including international financial organizations, corporations, partnerships and closely held businesses. He has extensive expertise in financial statement preparation including auditing US GAAP, SEC, domestic and foreign private issuer registration and regulatory compliance, federal income tax and other comprehensive basis of accounting financial statements, financial forecasts and projections, and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 internal control over financial reporting.
Kaplan is a principal in the professional standards and practices group. He has more than 18 years of public accounting experience. He has specialized in assisting clients with their annual audit requirements in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, health care, life sciences, broadcasting, retail, restaurants, apparel, publishing, software, technology and professional services. Many of these clients were portfolio companies of private equity funds, including a company that filed an initial public offering.
