AGN International, Ltd., with headquarters in London, UK, announced it has appointed its first regional manager in the Asia Pacific region.
The new manager, Stephen Leung, will be based in Hong Kong and has been charged with giving AGN member firms more resources to increase their business opportunities, brand building, knowledge sharing and tightening current lines of communication both internally and externally.
Nicholas Blake, CEO of AGN International said “This appointment is a very historic one as it is a first of its kind for this region. We have recognized the very high importance of the Asia Pacific region in the business environment both today and in the foreseeable future. This appointment will meet the demands of clients wanting to invest there as well as support the activities of our current member firms and increase our footprint in the area. I am personally delighted that Stephen has decided to accept this key role as he has the credentials to ensure its success”.
Leung comes from a background of undertaking such work in an international environment and has previously worked in both China and the US. While he is AGN’s first Asia Pacific regional manager, the North American and European regions of AGN have long been supported by regional staff.
Blake said this is a major step forward for AGN and is just one of a number of pivotal strategies that have been put in place this year to ensure that AGN remains a market leader in providing the highest level of information and services in a professional manner to its member firms and their clients.
